The\nIndependent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on\nFriday said it had seized 44 assets valued at N14.7 billion.

\nSpokesperson\nof the anti-graft agency, Mrs. Rasheedat Okoduwa, disclosed this in a statement\nin Abuja.
\n
\nOkoduwa\nsaid the assets, located in the Federal Capital Territory, comprised two\nmansions, 27 pieces of land, one factory building and 15 buildings at Asokoro,\nMaitama and other districts.
\n
\nShe stated\nthat the assets were linked to 32 corporate entities and that the seizures\nfollowed the denial of ownership by the supposed owners.
\n
\nShe said:\n\u201cThe commission, in collaboration with the Federal Inland Revenue Service\n(FIRS), had found that the entities had N883.7 million tax liability on the\nseized properties.
