Former US Vice President Joe Biden<\/a>, in a pre-recorded video testimonial aired at George Floyd\u2019s funeral on Tuesday in Houston, Texas, reached out to the surviving children of George Floyd with a heartfelt plea for their future and said, \u201cNow is the time for racial justice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know you have a lot of questions, honey,\u201d he said, addressing Floyd\u2019s 6-year-old daughter, Gianna, who was in attendance at The Fountain of Praise church. \u201cNo child should have to ask questions that too many Black children have had to ask for generations. Why? Why is Daddy gone?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biden added, \u201cLittle Gianna, as I said to you when I saw you yesterday, you\u2019re so brave. Daddy\u2019s looking down, and he\u2019s so proud of you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen there\u2019s justice for George Floyd, we will truly be on our way to racial justice in America.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Tuesday that he was \u201cdisgusted\u201d by President Donald Trump\u2019s claim that a 75-year-old man seen in a video being pushed by a Buffalo police officer during a protest \u201cfell harder than (he) was pushed\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
