{"id":22915,"date":"2020-06-30T14:37:44","date_gmt":"2020-06-30T14:37:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=22915"},"modified":"2020-06-30T14:37:55","modified_gmt":"2020-06-30T14:37:55","slug":"180-covid-19-patients-discharged-in-oyo-after-full-recovery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=22915","title":{"rendered":"180 COVID-19 patients discharged in Oyo after full recovery"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i3.wp.com\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Seyi-Makindee.jpg\" alt=\"Seyi Makinde\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A fresh batch of 180 COVID-19 patients have been discharged by the Oyo State Government after testing negative twice for the dreaded virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The state Governor,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/pdp-reacts-to-gov-makindes-alleged-plots-to-have-george-replace-secondus-as-party-chairman\/\">Seyi Makinde<\/a>&nbsp;made this known on Monday on his official Twitter handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, the number of COVID-19 cases so far managed and discharge in the state now stands at 688.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He, however, said the state recorded one coronavirus associated death, bringing the total death toll in the state to 12 while 66 new cases were equally recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He tweeted: \u201c180 confirmed COVID-19 cases received their second negative test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 688.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlso, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for 66 suspected cases came back positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe cases are from Ibadan North West (26), Ibadan N (9), Ibadan SW (6), Ido (6), Lagelu (4), Egbeda (3), Oyo E (3), Ibarapa N (3), Saki W (2), Ibadan SE (1), Ibadan NE (1), Akinyele (1) and Itesiwaju (1) LGAs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSo, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 1,372.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSadly, we had one&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/tag\/COVID-19\/\">COVID-19<\/a>&nbsp;related death.
