{"id":24345,"date":"2020-07-13T14:41:25","date_gmt":"2020-07-13T14:41:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=24345"},"modified":"2020-07-13T14:41:34","modified_gmt":"2020-07-13T14:41:34","slug":"magus-suspension-justifies-kanus-assertion-that-buharis-govt-cant-salvage-nigeria-ipob","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=24345","title":{"rendered":"Magu\u2019s suspension justifies Kanu\u2019s assertion that Buhari\u2019s govt can\u2019t salvage Nigeria \u2014IPOB"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i3.wp.com\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Nnamdi-Kanu.jpeg\" alt=\"Nnamdi-Kanu\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has declared that the assertion by its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari cannot salvage Nigeria, has been proven by the suspension of the Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IPOB, in a statement issued on Sunday by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said that the arrest, detention, and subsequent suspension of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/tag\/Magu\">Magu<\/a>&nbsp;is another prophecy of Kanu fulfilled shortly after he made it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the statement, IPOB also questioned why an agency formed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo has never been held by any other tribe except northerners, who allegedly run it as a private estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement by IPOB reads thus; \u201cFollowing the ongoing suspension of the former Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu, we, the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, wish to state categorically to all Nigerians that this country cannot be redeemed by the people who see the Nigerian State as their permanent oil field and private estate assigned to them by the British government in 1960.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMazi Nnamdi Kanu has been saying on numerous occasions, especially during his Radio Biafra broadcasts, that those people cannot salvage Nigeria unless all Nigerians join hands to salvage the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf Nigerians continue to allow only the North control the country, they must be prepared to welcome the \u2018sunami\u2019 that has been designed to befall Nigeria. \u201cOur leader,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/nnamdi-kanu-attacks-fake-pastors-who-only-collect-tithes-offerings-not-christianity-ipob\/\">Mazi Nnamdi Kanu<\/a>&nbsp;has been vindicated by the ongoing drama over arrest, detention and suspension of Magu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe has said it several times that this government with its cabal cannot salvage Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe all are aware of how the commission formed by the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, from the evidence on the ground appears to be run by only people from the North as if it is their private estate and no other tribe can head it,\u201d the statement concluded.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has declared that the assertion by its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari cannot salvage Nigeria, has been proven by the suspension of the Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu.
