Ahmadu Fintiri for\nkeeping to his promise of implementing the minimum wage in November.<br>\n<br>\n\u201cWe\nstarted receiving alerts from Monday depending on the bank in which your salary\naccount is domicile.<br>\n<br>\n\u201cThis is\nreally fresh air and I can assure you that all junior workers in the state are\nfull of praises for the governor,\u201d said Mr. Aminu Usman, a junior worker in\nDeputy Governor\u2019s office.<br>\n<br>\nA senior\nworker with state Ministry of Information, who identified himself as Mr.\nJonathan Girei, said senior staffers were yet to receive the new wage but were\nexcited knowing that it was the consequential adjustment that was delaying\ntheir own.<br>\n<br>\n\u201cWe are\nhoping to get a good deal at the end of the ongoing negotiation on\nconsequential adjustment between labor leaders and government,\u201d Girei said.<br>\n<br>\nSpeaking,\nthe state NLC chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Fashe, said the union was happy with the\nimplementation of the N32,000 for junior workers.<br>\n<br>\n\u201cWe\u2019re\nhopeful of a good deal for workers waiting for consequential adjustment.<br>\n<br>\n\u201cFintiri\nhas given us assurances that he would not hesitate to implement any agreement\nreached,\u201d Fashe said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Adamawa Government has commenced payment of N32,000 minimum wage to its workers.
