Russia\u2019s coronavirus vaccine is finally undergoing its last testing phase, and is expected to be registered by next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was disclosed by the Russian Deputy Health Minister, Oleg Grinevon, on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia is one of the countries with the world\u2019s fourth-largest coronavirus<\/a> caseload, with over 875,000 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the comments<\/a> carried by the Russian news agency \u2014 Interfax, Grinevon said: \u201cWe need to understand that the vaccine will be safe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, the Russia\u2019s Defence Ministry said in a statement, that there were no side effects or abnormalities detected among the volunteer soldiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe research results clearly showed that all volunteers had a clear immune response resulting from the vaccination,\u2019\u2019 the Defence Ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A senior health official had said in July that the vaccine is expected to be mass-produced in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recall that the vaccine was developed by the Russian state\u2019s Gamaleya Research Institute for Epidemiology and Microbiology, which announced two months ago that the vaccine was immune in all test subjects without negative side effects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
