Vladimir Putin\u2019s Russia has become the first country in the world to clear a COVID-19 vaccine and declare it ready for use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Putin in a statement on Tuesday said that one of his daughters has already been inoculated with the vaccine, despite international skepticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the President of Russia, the cleared vaccine underwent the necessary tests and has proven efficient, offering a lasting immunity against COVID-19<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at a government meeting, Putin said that the vaccine has undergone proper testing and is safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know it has proven efficient and forms a stable immunity, and I would like to repeat that it has passed all the necessary tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe must be grateful to those who made that first step very important for our country and the entire world,\u201d Putin said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Russian leader added<\/a> that one of his two adult daughters has received two shots of the vaccine. \u201cShe has taken part in the experiment,\u201d Putin said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
