{"id":35121,"date":"2020-10-13T14:39:41","date_gmt":"2020-10-13T14:39:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=35121"},"modified":"2020-10-13T14:39:47","modified_gmt":"2020-10-13T14:39:47","slug":"another-reps-member-dumps-pdp-for-apc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=35121","title":{"rendered":"Another Reps member dumps PDP for APC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i3.wp.com\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/image154.jpeg\" alt=\"Reps vow to take action against MDAs failing to implement budget\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has again lost a member in the House of Representatives to the All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opposition party had only last week lost two of its members in the Reps, Ephraim Nwuzi, Rivers State and David Abel, Taraba State to the ruling APC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the plenary of the lawmakers resumed on Tuesday, a member representing the Egbado South\/Ipokia federal constituency of Ogun State, Kolawale Lawal, joined the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said in his letter of resignation read out by the Reps Speaker,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/nass-will-make-sure-2021-budget-meets-needs-of-nigerians-gbajabiamila\/\">Femi Gbajabiamila<\/a>, that he dumped the PDP because of the internal disagreement rocking the party in his state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Deputy Minority Leader, Toby Okechukwu, raising a point of order, said that Lawal\u2019s seat should be declared vacant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Speaker Gbajabiamila said, \u201cDo you remember when 38 members of our party, the APC including a serving speaker decamped to your party?
