It\u2019s why we have Community Standards, which set out what is and isn\u2019t allowed on Facebook, and we remove anything that violates them,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn line with our rules, we removed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/buhari-has-no-moral-right-to-yeb-criticize-eastern-security-network-nnamdi-kanu\/\">Nnamdi Kanu\u2019s<\/a>&nbsp;page for repeatedly posting content that breaks those Community Standards, including content that violated our rules on coordinating harm and hate speech.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/\">Ripples Nigeria<\/a>&nbsp;reported on Wednesday that the proscribed group reacted to the removal of its leader\u2019s Facebook account in a statement from its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said \u201cWe strongly condemn this attitude of Facebook Managers in Lagos and Abuja who collude with corrupt Nigerian government officials to suppress free flow of Information via their platform.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Social networking giant, Facebook, Thursday, said it \u201cremoved\u201d the account of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu for \u201crepeatedly\u201d violating its rules against hate speech.
