{"id":40212,"date":"2021-02-12T15:12:58","date_gmt":"2021-02-12T15:12:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=40212"},"modified":"2021-02-12T15:13:53","modified_gmt":"2021-02-12T15:13:53","slug":"ned-nwoko-actress-regina-daniels-husband-alleges-plot-to-assassinate-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=40212","title":{"rendered":"Ned Nwoko, actress Regina Daniels\u2019 husband alleges plot to assassinate him"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i3.wp.com\/www.ripplesnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Ned-Nwoko.jpg\" alt=\"A\u2019Court overrules High Court, sacks Ned Nwoko as PDP senator-elect, returns Nwaoboshi\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ned Nwoko, the billionaire husband of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has announced during a press conference in Abuja that certain people are organizing his assassination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ned who made the allegation on Thursday, February 11, said that the plot is connected to a piece of land in his community in Delta state; in which he was setting up a university.<br>Ned added that a tussle about who becomes the next king of his community is also another factor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He explained that the issue of who becomes the next king had been settled by the elders and that the allocation of the land to him followed due process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The politician said that the assassination plot was exposed on social media by an inmate in Kuje Prison, Abuja; who overheard two fellow prisoners discussing the plot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the matter had been reported to the Nigerian Police Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nwoko claimed that the inmate, who was later released from the prison; received a series of threat messages and died mysteriously after three weeks and an autopsy was being carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He continued, \u201cI then reported the matter to the police and Department of State Security (DSS) and they went and interviewed the inmates involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inmates mentioned the name of one businessman who deals in the oil and gas sector as the master minder.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking further, he said the family of the late inmate would have been at this conference but due to fear for their lives; they refused to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said though security around him and his family had been tightened, the press conference was necessary to let the world know of the threat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ned Nwoko, the billionaire husband of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has announced during a press conference in Abuja that certain people are organizing his assassination.
