After Kano State Government dethroned Muhammed Sanusi on Monday, the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje installed Aminu Ado Bayero as new emir of the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Bayero\u2019s installation came hours after his predecessor was banished. Mr Sanusi was accused of insubordination by Kano State Executive Council. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although, critics argued that the former Central Bank of Nigeria governor\u2019s removal cannot be disconnected from his failure to support Mr Ganduje\u2019s re-election last year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In all, Aminu Ado Bayero ascended the throne and has since been recognized as the new emir of Kano State. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son of an Emir<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aminu Ado Bayero was born in 1961 to the family of the 13th emir of Kano, Ado Bayero as the second child of the monarch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He had his primary school education in Kofar Kudu Primary School in Kano and later proceeded to Government Secondary School, Birnin Kudu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After his secondary school education, Aminu Ado Bayero gained admission to study Mass Communication at Bayero University Kano. His love for education necessitated his travel to Flying College, Oakland, California, US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon his return to Nigeria, he went for his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the Nigeria Television Authority, Makurdi. As a communication graduate, he worked briefly as spokesperson at Kabo Air. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leadership Role:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1990, Aminu\u2019s father, Ado Bayero appointed him as the Dan Majen Kano and also doubled as district head of Dala. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pleased with Aminu\u2019s leadership role, his father in October that same promoted him to the position of Dan Buram Kano. Two years after, Turakin Kano and later Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida Kano in 2000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aminu also has experience serving as the chairman of the Kano emirate durbar committee before he was promoted to Wamban Kano in 2014 by his predecessor, Muhammed Sanusi II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ganduje\u2019s intervention:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Ganduje appointed Aminu as the emir of Bichi in 2019. A year after, he became the 15th emir of Kano State. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
