{"id":579,"date":"2019-11-03T21:15:41","date_gmt":"2019-11-03T21:15:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=579"},"modified":"2019-11-03T22:02:49","modified_gmt":"2019-11-03T22:02:49","slug":"fg-to-revive-10000-primary-healthcare-centres","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=579","title":{"rendered":"FG TO REVIVE 10000 PRIMARY  HEALTHCARE CENTRES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" src=\"http:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/hush-naidoo-pA0uoltkwao-unsplash.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-508\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nigeria\u2019s\ngovernment is set to revive 10,000 primary healthcare centres in the country,\nthe Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, has said.<br>\nMr Ehanire\nsaid this when some members of Association of Nigeria Health Journalists,\nANHEJ, led by its President, Hassan Zaggi visited the minister in his office on\nFriday in Abuja.<br>\nHe said\nthe government was trying to create a balance to provide health facilities for\nall Nigerians, even those in the rural areas, villages, and difficult to access\nareas.<br>\n\u201cThat is\nthe reason that we should not forget those people by creating at least one\nhealth centre in every political ward of the country; almost 10,000 primary\nhealth care to be revitalised.<br>\n\u201cMany of\nthem are already there because they are neglected, they are being revived and\nmodernised and the standard expectation of a primary health care now is that it\nshould have modern facilities and infrastructure.<br>\n\u201cWe also\nexpect digital service so we can be able to take care of many of the diseases\nthat occur.
