After heavy criticism from the public, Nigeria\u2019s president, Muhammadu Buhari eventually spoke on Coronavirus on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The broadcast was the first time Mr Buhari will be speaking since the first outbreak of the virus in Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the address, Mr Buhari said: \u201cWe are working with [Federal] Ministry of Health on protecting our citizens from \u2018covik-one-nine\u2019 virus, as a government, this is now a key priority for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dFollowing the wrong pronunciation of the COVID-19, Nigerians took to Twitter to lambast the president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
