{"id":9035,"date":"2020-04-08T10:42:43","date_gmt":"2020-04-08T10:42:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=9035"},"modified":"2020-04-08T10:42:48","modified_gmt":"2020-04-08T10:42:48","slug":"covid-19-man-slumps-dies-in-delta-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=9035","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19: Man slumps, dies in Delta Market"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailypost.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/crime2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A yet-to-be-identified man has slumped and died at Nupe line in Igbudu Market, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Details of the incident was still sketchy as of the time of this report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was learnt that the deceased had finished buying foodstuff when he suddenly slumped and died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A polythene bag containing food items, including tomatoes, pepper, onions and others was found beside his corpse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The remains of the deceased has been evacuated and deposited at a morgue in Warri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When contacted, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Hafiz Inuwa confirmed the report in a text message to DAILY POST Correspondent in Warri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part of CP Inuwa\u2019s text message read thus, \u201cI am very much aware.
