{"id":9270,"date":"2020-04-14T14:23:24","date_gmt":"2020-04-14T14:23:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=9270"},"modified":"2020-04-14T14:23:30","modified_gmt":"2020-04-14T14:23:30","slug":"covid-19-lockdown-police-bans-streets-walk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/watchdogplusmedia.com\/?p=9270","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 lockdown: Police bans streets walk"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailypost.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Nigerian-Police-2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kwara State Police Command has warned residents to stop walking around during the lockdown ordered by the state government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Public Relations Officer, Samuel Okasanmi, gave the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Okasanmi stated that the command will not tolerate movement of people in any form, including walking around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said that the government had put in place a mobile court to try anyone or group of people walking around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police spokesperson dismissed speculations that people were coming into the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He disclosed that the Commissioner of Police, Kayode Egbetokun was personally supervising all border posts in the state to ensure compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAll borders leading to the state are under tight security to disallow people coming in and out of the state.
