TWO separate fire incident yesterday razed parts of the headquartres complex of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) at Maitama District of Abuja F.C.T, and the popular Dugbe Market in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The two fire outbreaks occurred in the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The immediate causes of the inferno were still unknown as at the time of filing this report. But some eyewitnesses said the CAC fire outbreak was put under control by men of the Federal Fire Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Confirming the eyewitnesses\u2019 account, Registrar-General of CAC, Abubakar Garba explained that there was no loss of documents.
According to him, men of the Federal Fire Service were quickly mobilised to put it out as soon as the fire outbreak was noticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u201cIt was a minor fire incident at the CAC today which was quickly extinguished by the men of the Fire Service. However, there was no loss of document or live,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Similarly, firefighters responded to the scene of the Dugbe Market inferno which razed down entire rows of buildings and other structures before it was put under control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Residents of the area gathered in crowds as the flames wrecked its damage. There are no reported casualties as at press time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


But the two incidents are coming exactly one week after Treasury House, headquartres of Accountant General of the Federation (OAFF) was similarly consumed by fire.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
