Actress Eniola Badmus clears the air on N500,000 giveaway after being accused of scam

Times are indeed hard in the world, especially in a developing country like Nigeria during this period of lockdown caused by the coronavirus. As a result, a lot of people have resorted to begging for financial help on social media. Just recently, it was gathered that one Pius Omoyele reached out to actress, Eniola Badmus, to help him give out N500,000 to needy fans on her page. After the man had sent the money as promised, the actress then charged him N150,000 for bank charges and other cost. This greatly surprised the man and he asked for his money to be sent back. Eniola has now taken to Twitter to explain her side of things. According to her, the incident has nothing to do with taking advantage of people but that she could not bear the transfer cost and bank charges for the giveaway. She also said that in a case where people use her as an influencer to do a giveaway, then a business conversation must happen.
