Edo governorship election candidates sign peace accord

Candidates of political parties taking part in the governorship election in Edo State on Saturday, have signed an accord agreeing to let peace reign before, during and after the election.

The candidates including Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Godwin Obaseki of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) were physically present for the ceremony, which held in Benin City, the state capital.
