Nigeria Confirms Second Coronavirus Case

Nigeria has confirmed a second case of Coronavirus.

A tweet by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday said the second case had contact with the index case, an Italian, who visited Ogun State and currently quarantined at the Centre for Infectious Diseases, Yaba, Lagos.

The NCDC tweet read: “This second case is a contact of the index case, on Ogun State.

“The new case has been in isolation and was tested as part of our strategy to test all contacts of the index case.”
