TRACE boss rolls out road safety tips
Oluwatosin Shonde:
The Corps Commander/Chief Executive Officer, CEO of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) ‘Seni Ogunyemi, has rolled out some guidelines tagged “Road Safety Tips”, believing these would save many lives and property that are being wasted on daily basis in road accidents if motorists could strictly adhere to them.
Assessing the recent increasing rate of road accident in the state during this raining season, Ogunyemi, while speaking on phone with TheCaveat.info, dismissed the notion of some blood-sucking demons let lose from the pit of hell an infiltrated the roads, saying the careless motorists are ‘the demons’ themselves if there was any at all.
“I sincerely believe most of these accidents are man-made. The gods are not to blame. We, human beings must strive to imbibe the culture of doing things right and stop shifting blame of our negligence on the unseen forces”, he said.
