Kano records first COVID-19 death, confirms 12

Kano State Ministry for Health has confirmed twelve new cases of coronavirus.

It also confirmed first death in the state from the virus.

The Ministry on its official Twitter handle announced: “Wednesday, 15th April 2020. As at 11:55 pm, 1 death of #COVID19 has been recorded.”

The Kano state’s Ministry of Health has confirmed the state’s first death from the coronavirus disease. The ministry announced the death in a tweet posted in the late hours of Wednesday, April 15. Details of the death were not given but the ministry said there were 21 total cases of COVID-19 in the state, as against the 16 recorded for the state by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
