K1 reacts to alleged extramarital affair with Alaafin’s youngest wife

Music legend, K1 De Ultimate has reacted via his media adviser, to the scandalous allegation suggesting he had an affair with the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 111’s wife, Olori Badirat Ajoke. In a statement shared to his official Facebook account, he denied the allegation. According to the music legend, the allegation is nothing but a lie from the ‘pits of hell’ aimed at dragging his name through the mud. K1 in the statement alleged that these lies were made up simply because he was conferred with the title of Mayegun of Yoruba land. He added that the Alaafin’s crime was that he was conferred of the honour, hence the need to drag him down as well. K1 also stated that as the Mayegun of Yorubaland, he is aware of the customs and traditions of the Yoruba and as such, cannot put them to disrepute. The music legend further revealed his plans to sue the people responsible for the spread of the scandalous rumour. “Let me remind the rumour mongers that Nigeria has adequate laws to bring anyone who has embarked on character assassination of the innocent to book. The fans and the general public should be rest assured that we will legally seek redress for this allegation.” Meanwhile, Olori Ajoke, the wife of the traditional monarch involved in the rumored affair, has now come out to debunk the story. A video clip on an Instagram page (@themynigeria) was sighted in which an unidentified man was seen holding a phone call with the queen. In the conversation, the queen was heard saying she had no idea about what was going on until her attention was drawn to a report by a popular Nigerian blogger, which was shared on video streaming platform, YouTube. After seeing the YouTube post, she explained that she started coming across the alleged report on several news outlets.
